Keep On Keeping On

Precious friends,

First of all, THANK YOU for faithfully pressing alongside us: supporting us financially, checking on us, and praying for us. Here's how God used your resources and prayers here in Romania.

Women's Ministry got creative using Zoom as we didn't have a way to meet physically for 4 months. We encouraged the ladies to LOOK BACK and see what lessons God has taught us in the quarantine, and then we LOOKED FORWARD to a new chapter in our life.
Women's Ministry got creative using Zoom

After Zoom fatigue for work, church, social life... we decided to venture into the PARK for church events.

The Tully's take their MASK seriously due to Bill's heart condition and Mina's diabetes.

Saying regular GOODBYE's is part of our life-style because of our very transient nature we work in. Most people move because of their job reassignment. We've had at least 10 people leave in just the last couple of months and more to go.
Saying goodbye to our South-African friends. Schalk was a church elder, and Susanne was our Sunday School Director.

Our kids were so excited to see their Sunday-School friends.

Saying good-bye to a US Embassy Personnel who served as part of our Worship Team.

Naty and the girls have escaped the house more than Bill, visiting with several families... MASK on at all times.
Visiting with Sarah who adopted 7 children here in Bucharest. Naty's holding a 10 day-old baby abandoned by her mom. Pray for a home for this baby. (If Naty could just sneak her in her backpack 😀 )

We had the opportunity to be part of a charity event hosted by the British ambassador supporting Light Into Europe (helping the blind and deaf in Romania) led by our elder Stan Platt. We had the blessing of meeting the US ambassador and other wonderful people.

Continuing to develop  relationships with amazing people.

Being greeted by Mr. and Mrs. Ambassador at their residence.

How refreshing to escape our 4 walls and be treated to a nice garden intimate concert.
After several months of borders being shut down, by God's grace we managed to meet half way with Naty's parents for an afternoon. We swapped hugs, goodies... hopefully no viruses... then we all returned to our homes. It was a refreshing and encouraging time.

Andrei's creativity and passion for Jesus allowed his church to meet outdoors way before us.

We celebrated July 4th in the coziness of our home.

Although the main legalities are over concerning the ADOPTION, please pray for us to receive the written Court Decision so we can make the girls new birth certificates, passports, change schools and especially change their names. Romina-Valentina is now Mina-Esther Tully, Izabela-Alexandra is now Bella-Grace Tully.

After we finish all the legalities with the girls, we are planning to come to the States for a few months to visit with family, friends, supporters, and churches.

We have been diligently working toward fund-raising for our home here in Bucharest. (Right now we live in a church parsonage) God opened that opportunity when a family friend offered to pay $200,000 if we can match the other.

We thank Jesus for being able to raise so far about $15,000 even from afar. (Home prices here are quite high. We're not even aiming for best location.) Please pray for God's guidance in our HOME PROJECT.

If you know someone who might be interested in making a difference in this way, no matter how small or large the amount, please let us know.

Naty and the girls are continuing to do ministry via YouTube and Facebook. Naty is putting music to different Bible Verses every week in English and Romanian.

Covid cases in Romania are rising daily. We have had friends that got infected by the virus. So far our church has met only online, but this coming Sunday is our first OUTDOORS service since March. We praise Jesus for providing us with a garden to go and worship freely, keeping the legal social distancing in check.

We are praying for you and the many struggles the USA is undergoing at the moment.

"And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. To him be the power for ever and ever. Amen." 1 Peter 5:10-11
